I am pressing this pen to paper 

Forcing ink to spill and smudge 

Constant pressure in one spot 

Tears through several pages 

 

I want to translate my thoughts into words 

But I have exhausted the alphabet 

Racing sentences too fast to be rational 

I am speechless
